Listening to our community and supporting our Tigers

As the leaves change and the mornings turn crisp, there is a real sense of energy and anticipation throughout Rush City Public Schools. We are standing on the threshold of one of the most exciting times of the school year: Homecoming Week is officially next week!

Homecoming is always a highlight of the fall season, bringing together students, families, alumni, staff, and neighbors in a vibrant showcase of Tiger Pride. From dress-up spirit days and pep rallies to Friday night athletics and community gatherings, these traditions remind us of what makes our community such a special place to live and learn. I encourage everyone to participate in the festivities, wear your school colors, and come out to support our hard-working students.

This time of year also marks a meaningful milestone as we continue to outline the future of our district. We are now moving into the final stretch of our 100-day listening sessions, the core focus of our Phase I "Listen" phase within our unifying theme for the year: "Listen. Reflect. Transform."

Applications open for School Board appointment

The Rush City School District expresses its sincere gratitude to departing board member Rory Roth following his resignation. Rory’s leadership, dedication, and service have left a meaningful mark on our schools, staff, and students. We thank Rory for his commitment to the Rush City community and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

With this vacancy on the board, Rush City Public Schools are moving forward with a process for appointing a board member for the remainder of the term, which ends on Dec. 31, 2028.
