Welcome to Rush City High School
Designed to prepare students for life after high school - whether that be college, vocational school, or employment, Rush City High School's diverse curriculum provides more than 150 semester or year-long courses
in: agri-business, art, business, communications, computer science, industrial technology, mathematics, music, physical education, science, social studies and foreign language.
Work experience programs in special education, business, and agri-business allow students to attend classes for part of the
day, and then apply their skills and knowledge to a job in the community. Rush City students may elect to receive up to 33 college credits through special courses available at the high school. In addition, the high-tech facilities offered at the high school encourages the complete integration of technology into all aspects of daily learning activities.
Students may participate in a wealth of curricular and co-curricular activities
including: athletics, fine arts, band, chorus, theater, speech, yearbook, Future Farmers of America, Future Leaders of America, Business Professionals of America, Knowledge Bowl, National Honor Society, Student Council, and foreign language clubs.
